Sharpen your cutlass and join the crew--we’re launching the Dark Deeds in Freeport project today!

In 2000 Green Ronin Publishing introduced the world to Freeport, a pirate city seething with intrigue and full of adventure. Open Design is pleased to announce a new Pathfinder project set in that seemingly-legitimate port: Dark Deeds in Freeport. In this 64-page mid-level adventure, PCs will investigate impossible crimes, learn long-hidden secrets, and finally confront an unearthed Valossan artifact and its demonic architect … an architect who has had centuries of solitude to ponder the truest route to chaos.

This project will follow Open Design’s award-winning patronage model, in which patrons contribute to a project from its earliest outline to the final publication. Patrons will choose everything from the level of the adventure to the people and places in Freeport it touches, and they will have the opportunity to critique and playtest the adventure as it develops.

Senior patrons will be invited to design encounters, opponents, magic, and even mini-adventures within the greater story of Dark Deeds in Freeport. The project will be led by Open Design regular Michael Furlanetto, who has contributed adventures to Halls of the Mountain King, Red Eye of Azathoth, The Lost City, and Tales of the Old Margreve.

You can become a patron of Dark Deeds in Freeport right here at the Kobold Store. You will receive a welcome email and directions to the private forums where design takes place within 48 hours.

Join us and help to write the latest chapter in the ongoing saga of Freeport!

Welcome!

If anyone has any questions about the project, please ask! I'm happy to convince you that becoming a patron is a great decision. Wink

Really excited about the rebirth of Freeport!!! This is going to be a kick-butt patronage project and I'm looking forward to seeing the dark streets and backalleys Mr. Furlanetto takes us through. Awesome stuff!

Freeport is one of my favorite settings. I will be joining you soon! I am happy to see some familiar "faces" from "Streets of Zobeck" considering all of the really good work that I have seen coming off the "Streets" so far.

After the mean Streets, Mike, the salt sea air will wash you clean.

Either that, or Freeport's gutter will blend seamlessly into the Zobeck gutter. Very Happy

"We'd be fools not to ride this strange torpedo all the way out to the end."

On deck, sir!
