Another site I really enjoy is Treasure Tables. The site is not being updated anymore, since the owner is now focusing on Gnome Stew, but many of the articles over there are awesome.

There are a few articles on TT that I especially enjoy. One is Being a Player is Like Using a Flashlight. Hop over there, have a read, and then come back and let me know what you think.

What do I think?

How do you account for the fact that your players may not be focusing their 'flashlights' on the things you want them to?

How do you keep elements of your adventures on the edges of their attention, constantly pulling them forward to investigate?
