Howdy!
Been busy. Miss you kids.
I love Midgard Bestiary so this is not some cheap nitpicky complaint.
I stopped to see if there was an errata thread for the Bestiary. There wasn't one, so I'm starting one.
I like the Likho, but it has some minor bugs in it.
For the life of me I can't figure out where the damage bonus is coming from with a 15 Str. You can arbitrarily set a natural claw attack at whatever die you need it to be to get it in the right damage range for the CR, but you can't fake the Strength bonus.
Also, that should be rend, and not rake- because rake is somewhat dependent on the grab ability or grappling. Also with rend you get a x1.5 Strength modifier.
For my own use I just sort of flipped the Strength and Dex ability scores, added 2 more points of natural armor, and settled for 2 claws at 1d6+4, and a rend ability at 1d6+6. That's a little low on damage but the bastard has tons of powers so that's okay.
Again, not nitpicking.. I was just looking over this one and found some issues. I wouldn't be looking over the creature if I didn't like it.
EDIT: Looks like the designer was trying to pair rake with pounce, which is fine, but you can still use rend in its place. Rend is only dependent on getting those two natural attacks which you can do with pounce. It's just a way to get around it without also needing to add the grab ability on top of everything else.
Okay the Loki Kobold has to get back to the mines. Seeya at PaizoCon. _________________ Jim Groves
