Ha. That's one of the things I thought needed a compilation, for sure. Midgard Player's Guide, anyone? Smile[/quote]

Especially if the Player's Guides include information not available in the Midgard Campaign setting (which I must confess is a puzzling marketing decision.)

Take my money! Take it!

Well, but it wasn't a marketing decision, really. It was a decision that the Midgard book was *already* 140 pages over the goal, and adding another 200 pages of player content to create a 496-page behemoth was probably a bad idea.

The Player's Guides are roughly parallel to the Player's Companion series for Golarion: they expand the material for players at the table, without stepping on the GM's toes.

Ah! I thought they were more akin to the Player's Guides for the the Adventure Paths, or the Player's Guide to Ptolus: covering basic player-only info that's already part of the parent sourcebook.

(You're still going to take my money, right? Razz )

Yep, every release does get a mention in the Courier and most releases also appear on the Kobold blog/articles.

The most recent releases from the Midgard back page are the Player's Guides to the Crossroads and to the Dragon Empire, and the MA1 and MA2 adventures, plus the Pirates of the Western Ocean sourcebook.

The Kobold King has hinted that perhaps if we sell a truckload of the PDFs, he might maybe possibly consider some sort of compilation publication, but he would have to see a lot of PDF sales to even consider it...so buy many PDFs! Tell your friends! $4.99 for a gift certificate for a full color present for your gaming cousins! Tell everyone at the Paizo boards! Post it on your blog and Facebook and G+....the more we sell, the more likely your champagne wishes and softcover compilation dreams will come true....(and my kids get to eat)....

Your spidey-sense is entirely correct. The cost of printing these guides in color is very high, but it might be worth doing next year if people really like the guides. Then again, it might be a boondoggle.

Math to the rescue, I hope.
